چکیده
The concept of “Indo-Pacific” has been increasingly adopted in foreign policies during the past few years. Despite its multifaceted nature, China consistently rejected use Indo-Pacific official policy. Beijing’s attitude was reflected Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s remarks that dismissed as a “come-back Cold War mentality” and “retrogression history.” This study explains why renounced despite increasing inclusion defining region. Beyond seeking from conception, advances own vision is projected through Belt Road Initiatives various concepts shape order Beijing's preference.

Variability of the Indo-Pacific Ocean exchanges
The ECCO–GODAE global estimate of the ocean circulation 1992–2007 is analyzed in the region of the Indonesian Throughflow (ITF), including the Southern Ocean flow south of Australia. General characteristics are an intense month-to-month noise, only weak trends, and an important annual cycle (which is not the focus of attention). Apart from the details of the unresolved flows within the various ...
متن کاملRegional Decline of Coral Cover in the Indo-Pacific: Timing, Extent, and Subregional Comparisons
BACKGROUND A number of factors have recently caused mass coral mortality events in all of the world's tropical oceans. However, little is known about the timing, rate or spatial variability of the loss of reef-building corals, especially in the Indo-Pacific, which contains 75% of the world's coral reefs. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPLE FINDINGS We compiled and analyzed a coral cover database of 6001 qu...
